Big Dig Archaeological Centre
The Sydney University ARCHSOC Symposium for archaeology students and recent graduates is being held on the 12th of March and includes The Rocks, Museum, Workshop, Conference, Pub Crawl and Networking.
The University of Sydney Archaeology Society 2015 executive is excited to announce its next major event: ARCHSOC Symposium 2016. This one-day event will be held at the Big Dig Archaeological Centre, set over ‘The Rocks’ historical site, Sydney, on Saturday 12 March, 2016. The day will involve presentations, workshops and museum tours, concluding with an optional pub-crawl. There will be a presentation detailing studying archaeology at University of Sydney, and presentations made by a consultant archaeologist, museum staff member, and PhD student to discuss options beyond Honours year. Further presentations will be made about the University of Sydney digs in Cyprus and Jordan. This event is aimed primarily at archaeology students or recent graduates, but anyone who is interested in archaeology is able to attend.
Payments are to be made at entry to the Symposium.
