Come and explore Noongar Boodja with an Aboriginal guide and learn of the Noongar 6 Seasons. The bush was the Noongars supermarket. It provided everything they needed. Edible bush tucker plants as well as very important bush medicines for healing minor ailments. Some of these foods and medicines are used today.
During the tour you will see bush tucker and medicinal plants in their natural environment, handle artefacts and tools and gain a full understanding about the Noongar 6 Seasons. Enjoy delicious nibbles and tasty treats infused with traditional herbs and spices, while hearing about Noongar cultural sites in Fremantle.
All conference fieldtrips can be booked during the online registration process. Guests, including children, are welcome to attend.
